Four ETBU Players Participate in the Dream Bowl
Tuesday, January 22, 2013

MARSHALL, Texas – Four East Texas Baptist University football players were given another chance to showcase their talents this past weekend in Virginia playing the inaugural Dream Bowl.  Kwame Spikes, Jordan Hayes, Collin Bieschke, and Alex Cloudy all played in the game.

The American Southwest Conference had a strong representation with players from ETBU, Hardin-Simmons, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Louisiana College, and Texas Lutheran.  There were six Louisiana College players and four players from ETBU and Mary Hardin-Baylor.  Hardin-Simmons had three players and Texas Lutheran brought one.  The ASC represented 18 of the 36 players on the team with five different schools.

It was the third all-star game for Spikes to play in and the second for Cloudy.  Both Bieschke and Hayes played in their first all-star game.   All four players leave ETBU with their names in the record books on offense and defense as they look to continue their careers at the next level.
